What is PILATES?
Pilates method was called from the name of its creator, Joseph Pilates, who discovered that the harmony between the physical and mental fitness. It is a wonderful base from which to sense and to achieve an ideal silhouette.
PILATES mainly focused on strengthening the abdomen, back, buttocks and inner thigh muscles, which become a strong core of our body.
Pilates training develops flexibility, muscle strength, and sculptures without being large and bulky. The body becomes supple, strong and slender as in dancers.

How to practice PILATES?
Pilates exercises do not require a large number of repetitions but you have to be familiar with its basic principles from the beginning, before you start to do the movements:
concentration, control, centering, precision, flowing movement, breathing, intuition

Who can practice PILATES?
Anyone can practice the method of Pilates, no matter the age or condition. Each exercise has many options and variations, which  adapts to the participants.
However, if you have any serious health problems, ask your doctor or earlier physiotherapist for advice and tell us about it before a workout.
Pilates method is also ideal for pregnant woman, because it strengthens a torso like a natural corset, that will support your belly and also protect your spine.
PILATES is also a perfect complement to training for runners, cyclists, or swimmers. Pilates training strengthens the body from the inside, relaxes muscles and teaches control of the body.
